To better understand HOW we will REDEFINE and REVOLUTIONIZE the way which we train our dogs, let's begin by asking some questions:
First of all, what are dogs? Well they’re animals.
Ok! So how do these animals exist? Well in packs, of course.
What are the core elements of a pack? STRUCTURE. COMMUNITY. RULES. Sure. Makes sense…
So now that we know that, let’s think about how THEY, as a species, COMMUNICATE- because applying this knowledge is my training ethos.
So how DO they communicate? Well, through intuitive expression of body posturing.
What does that even mean? Well, it’s simple. All that means is that they operate “In the Now” by analyzing and responding to external cues and information in real time. They are very action – reaction based and how one dog sends information to another will greatly impact how the receiver reciprocates. Their emotional response is reflected in micro-expressions that are written all over their bodies. And it all happens in a flash.
Wow, that's incredible!! So fascinating, isn't it? Why should I care about this?
Because this is GROUND ZERO of CANINE COMMUNICATION. It is Intuitive. It is Interactive. And most of all, it is Intelligent.
It is the core of their existence. If you expect results, my friends, you better know understand your "enemy" and plan your battle strategically.
So I beg the question (forgive the pun) "How do YOU talk to your dog?" Do you use your voice? Does your dog really and truly understand what is being asked of him/her? How are they responding to your presence? Are they doing what they're told? What are their bodies telling you? Are you able to understand?
If you want to truly bond with your bud, you need to bring yourself to the party too, people. After all they've done for us over the years, we owe it to them to show a genuine interest and understanding of THEM and how THEY operate. This is my goal. THIS is my MISSION: To reframe the relationship that humans have with dogs and to teach you Species Specific Strategies for Clear, Compassionate and Cooperative Communication.
Let me take you on an adventure. Let me teach you how to speak so you will be listened to. Let will teach you their "alphabet," so you and read their book... because if you can read their book, well...can write it too.
