Dogs are amazing. They are incredibly smart, loving and LOYAL to the death. None of this is news. Heck, it’s why you have a dog, right!?
Dogs have been co-existing with humans for tens of thousands of years and as a result, have evolved in many ways to be adaptive to us, but somewhere, somehow, along the way, a great disconnect has occurred between "(Hu)man" and their "best friend." People seem to be at a loss with their relationship with their dogs where they’re causing trouble more often. They’re not listening. Their people are getting tired. They are getting frustrated and both the dogs AND their humans are suffering as a result. This is not right. Something’s not working. So what is it?
In order to fully understand any problem, one must probe for the ROOT CAUSE.
There are many I believe, but the most important ones are COMMUNICATION, EXPECTATION and LACK OF EMPATHY.
Alright, so we’ve found the problem. Now…how do WE, as humans, EVOLVE to FIX IT?
